3 questions for fun! It's Wednesday!!!
1. Favorite movie of all time and why?
I loved Tootsie, especially the line of Dustin Hoffman's said he was a better man as a woman, but I also love Steel Magnolias because ot the inner strength the women have.
2. Favorite Christmas gift as a child.
In thinking over those Christmases, I remember lots of things but ice skates bring back many memories.
3. Favorite day trip place.
In the summer I love Indiana Beach or going to Nashville IN just to browse through the shoppes. In the winter don't do much getting out except to family and friends for games, or just hanging out.
I have wonderful memories to reflect back on. Thanks Tracy for helping me to remember.
But I also love Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes and Driving Miss Daisy.
2. I got a set of American Bricks, a building set. I could play all day building houses.
3. Any antique store.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
Here at Christmas time, I love It's A Wonderful Life.
2. What was your favorite Christmas gift as a child?
I can't remember a specific one.
3. What is your favorite place to take a day trip with your family or friends when you want to spend time out and about?
We go down to Bowling Green KY. It's where DH and I went to college and our oldest daughter will go there next year. We lived there 10 years so we have our favorite places to go and our favorite restaurant to eat at.

1. favorite movies-
Titanic- like you, I love the history & story line, Steel Magnolias- tough, funny, strong ,loving women, & Wizard of OZ- I always remember the Tin Man- "if I only had a brain" - now my song- hee~hee! I love the music & always wanted those read shoes! I love, love the original.
Christmas- It's a Wonderful life; Miracle on 34Th St.; White Christmas ( watched it last night), ANY old Christmas movie with music, a strong story line, & the real meaning of Christmas shown.
The Christmas Story-our grown kids still love that movie! We have a tradition of watching it every year, laughing all the time, till tears roll!
Favorite gift-
It has to be the year that Santa came to our house & brought me my first bath powder, my brother his first big rig truck & my lil sisters dolls. We were so poor that their we 4 kids at the time, & my Dad dug ditches that yr. to put food on the table- Mom had just had another miscarriage ( would have been 13 of us had they all lived), & the store owner ,who let them get food on credit, came dressed up as Santa, & gave us all our gifts & brought food, as well.My grandparents were there & grandma always made us new clothes to wear to church. I have never forgot the generosity of that man, nor that Christmas. I guess that is why I feel led to be a volunteer at our local Caring Center & do the Church food drive.
Favorite place- It has to be anywhere with my GF's- shopping, antiquing, watching movies, laughing, sharing, crying, anything, as long as we are together.
With Dana- same answer- I love to talk long drives, see the sights, take long walks in the State park, go someplace historical to just absorb the history. When our girls were little, we spent alot of time at the Children's Museum, the State Museum & the Indpls. Art Museum. We still love to go to all of those places & tour the grounds & reminisce.Geese, I am getting sentimental!
Thanks Tracy for starting this- it is a wonderful way to get to know each other better.
