It is Friday

Good Morning! IT is the day after Christmas and I am up early as usual. I went to my cousins to be with my husband some yesterday. We were not even in the same room most of the time. He was learning to play Texas Hold 'Em and I was helping to get the meal prepared. I was hoping to get to play some eurche but the guys were playing poker and there were not enough people left to play euchre. I really was hoping to be able to have some fun along with the good food but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I had to take a nap before coming home as it is a 3 hour drive and after eating I got so sleepy. I never used to get sleepy before WLS.
 I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Was Santa good to you? I hope you all got what you wanted for CHristmas.
 I have to work today from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. I am also going to ask if I can go in early tomorrow to make up some of the hours I missed on Christmas Eve. Those spells are going to wind up costing me my job yet! I have a doctors appt. on Monday and also seeing Dr. Jones on Tuesday. I hope they can tell me what is going on! It is getting scary because it is happening weekly now.
 Well enough about me! You all have a wonderful day of hanging out with family and friends. If you have to travel be safe! Michelle

Good morning all!

Christmas was awesome.  My kids were all here together and we had so much fun.  We played cards, rock band, and board games.  They helped me bake cookies.  We had a nice lunch and then the girls went to a movie together while the guys watched Basketball.  Tyler and I got some Mommy time reading his new book to me.   It was just the most perfect day I could have wanted.  I feel very blessed.

So, today should be fun too.  When the kids get up we are gonna do puzzles and play more games!  I can't wait!

Morning all...hope everyone had a great day yesterday and enjoyed a day off work if nothing else! I am up and the rest of the house is still asleep...pretty good with a 9 month old in the house! he was worn out so bad from the last two days. Me too. All that hub bub and cooking. But its done and in less than a week we start a new year!

Whew!!!  What a day huh guys?  Hope everyone had a great Christmas and got to spend time with their loved ones.  That was the best part of the day for me. I am trying to figure out my new toy... an itouch ipod.  I am sure my son will have to show me all the bells and whizzers on how to use all of the devices it has.
Its good to be home and not have to head out to any stores today. I feel sorry for anyone who has to trudge out and head to the return/exchange counters. May patience be with you.
I have been talking with my friend in Norway today. She has such lovely traditions there.  I wish I had more family traditions for the holidays.
Haven't had time to get on the computer much in the last week. I have missed getting my updates on all of you. So I am busy reading past posts.
One thing I am glad about today is that I don't have to be around all that FOOD!  While it was a little tempting to me at times, it just wasn't as appealing as it used to be.  How great is that?!!!  I was able to enjoy a holiday without eating myself into a belly ache.  Food is actually losing its appeal to me.
