Saturday!

Good morning all!

It's Saturday and we made it thru another week!   Only a few days left and we will have made it thru another year! 

I am really enjoying my time with the kids over their Christmas break.  Most the time I was working and didn't get to be home with them.  So, I am feeling pretty blessed to be able to enjoy this week with them.  We played games and watched Happy Feet yesterday.  I love that movie!  And if you are an Uno fan... Uno Spin is a blast!

Today Tyler is leaving for Wisconsin with Chaz and Ashley to go to Lambeau field tomorrow and watch the Packers beat the Lions.  I wish I was going too!  I'm so happy for them but  wow, Lambeau field is like a religious place for football fanatics like me.  Maybe someday I will get to go.  Too bad they don't have games in July.  LOL.

Kelli and I are gonna have some girls time today and plan to hang out together and have some fun.  I look forward to that.  She's 14 so being with Mom isn't always the coolest thing she wants to do.  Breaks my heart how fast they grow up.

I figured I'd reply here too but a lil differently. I figured that Sherri's post deserved to be by itself.

Anyways, I'm sooo tired. I had hoped to sleep better than I did last night. They had me on a sleep aid (Rozerem) in the hospital and i was still waking up in the mid of the night and needing something to help me get back to sleep (Benadryl). They didn't discharge me on the sleep aid and I have some Ambien that was prescribed to me but the doc said he'd prefer me to not take it bcause it can be addicting. He said he had hope that once I got home to my own bed that I'd be able to sleep and not need anything. WRONG. :( The nights I don't get sleep or solid sleep usually means days where I cycle rapid and constantly the whole day. :| Can I just cry now? I just hate this feeling.

Today, I am going to go to the movies with hubby.  I have wanted to see Twilight since it came out.  I am such a movie fan - I have kicked myself for years because I didn't get to see Titanic on the big screen.  I hope they will re-release it theatrically on the 100th anniversary of the sinking so I can see it onscreen.

I got a lot of good info from you all last night.  I am going to eat 1/2 of a high protein lunch before I go, and sneak in with me a bottle of Crystal Light orange and a cheese stick to nibble to complete my lunch.  I'll buy a bottle of water and a cup of ice from the concession stand and I'll be good to go.  Who knows - I may not want the cheese after all!

Tracy, have fun with your girl!  I have a 14 year old granddaughter.  She thinks I am the coolest person on the planet.  That works for me!!

Hi Everyone 
I have my Christmas tree down, boxed up and put away.  Whew!!  On to the next holiday huh?  Kind of lazy day around here today. Can you believe how warm it is?  It is in the 60's here.  Too bad the sun isn't shining but hey, we'll take it huh?
Tracy I know what you mean about having a teenager who isn't thrilled to be stuck at home with Mom. Mine is actually still snooooozing! Can you believe that?
Christie Have fun at the movies!  Sounds like a good movie to watch. I love anything with vampires.... something sexy about vampires for me.
Misty try and feel better.  I wish I had some answers for you.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.  I am going to head to the store and get a headset for my itouch.  Still working on figuring it all out. Looks like itunes will be a buddy of mine here soon.
