Friday!!
Nope, not going to say TGIF since this is my last Friday off before going back to work. Man, has that time flown by!!
Anyway...Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was my lazy day so today, Bill & I are going to his mom's apt. She had two storage units that we need to empty up. We're going to start by getting that done. And then I'll get back to her clothes. Not much plans other than that for today. Well..guess I can fill out the paperwork for Tuesday's intestinal test. Man, I am dreading that. I hate that tube going down my nose to my intestines. It makes me feel like I'm gagging. They'll sedate me to put it in but then I'll be non-sedated for 8 hours with it in me!
Enough of that! I REALLY don't want to think about it!!
I hope you all have a good day...and had a good start to 2009!

I am off work today so I have some projects I am working on around the house. I am trying to reorganize my sewing room. I have to break it down into baby steps or get overwhelmed. I was wanting hubby to install shelving now I am wondering if a cabinet might be better so I can hide some of it lol. That would give me the opportunity to be messy though and close the door. Having it in the open forces me to be organized. I love to see all my things. Guess I will cross that hurdle when I get there.
I still haven't taken down my xmas decor. I normally get that done the day after xmas so today will be the day. In fact I will start that as soon as I finish my coffee, before everyone else wakes up.
Hugs and peace to you all.

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
GOOD MORNING ALL! Hope you all had a great New Years day! I went over to my neighbors and had some cabbage for good luck. I should have eaten a ton of it because I sure could use some good luck! I had another spell on Wednesday and then again yesterday! I am so scared that this is something that is major and hard to find. I am to go on Monday for an MRI and EEG. I hope they can find out what is going on! Please pray for some kind of decision from the doctors on what is going on with these spells. Please pray that it isn't something that can't be controlled as I am needing to continue to drive to be able to work.
It is neat that Melissa has lost 101 lbs. and is now in the onederland club. No one deserves it more! That woman is great! Her mother in law is so lucky to have her around. Hope to see her at the next clothing exchange so I can find some pink clothes for her! LOL!
Well ya all have a great day! Michelle

We had a lazy New Year's Day. After our Lowe's shopping expedition (I didn't get a new vacuum yet, but got a new can opener and several baskets to organize my pantry), we came home, put on comfy clothes, laid out on our big L shaped sectional, flipped on the fireplace, and watched movies. Hubby napped - I couldn't, so I watched TV. Just being together, even like that, is so nice - even after 10 1/2 years.
I woke up when his alarm went off today (he had to work), and couldn't get back to sleep. I watched a couple episodes of Clean House (I love that show - but OMG, there's no way my house would be that cluttered and filthy with TV crews there!), then got up to commune with you fine people.
After bit, I'm going to work on organizing my linen closet and clearing some of the master bath and bedroom clutter, and doing laundry. At least, that's the plan!!

Well, I had big plans for yesterday, packing away Christmas, etc. But the hubby slept the day away and I wasn't going to do it without him. Besides our youngest was in a mood all day and gave us fits at nap time. Home alone with them today. Hope to get a shower in before the day's over (that's how I tell if I've had a good day) and get some laundry done. Also working really hard at pushing the fluids. I'm not doing so well on that again. Don't understand why. Have to take the dog to the vet this afternoon and then thought I'd go see my co-workers (friends) at work tonight for a little visit. I miss them.
Have a great day everyone!

Good Friday Morning all,
I have some things to do today....Bella and I are going to library to check out some computer games. I think I have finally found something that keeps her hyperness under control. She usually can't hold her attentions for more than just a few minutes, well we put in a prek computer game yesterday and Viola....She loves it! A God send....She has been a handful for the last couple days. I have been looking into a prek school for her, she needs to get into a school atmosphere for the structure and to keep her mind busy.
Tommorrow we are taking my niece back to Wright state in Dayton and having luch with Terry's brother and one of his sisters. That will be fun. I haven't seen his brother since TERRY'S graduation from IWU in 2007. Then off to work tonight.
Robin and her femily and mine....were together for new Years. OMG what fun did we have. She is such a sweetheart. We played eucher and phase 10 until 2 in the morning. The girls crashed about 1. I am hoping we can get back together soon. SHe is so loveley....
Sitting here drinking my protein shake for breakfast...Blueberry/amaretto. Quite delicious. Hope everybody has a great day...TTYL Shanna

Afternoon All...I had to double check the calendar to make sure it was Friday...what with being off work these past two weeks and then the blur of this past week with my father passing I am not sure what day or year it even is! lol Jon brought me home after the funeral and church dinner last night to get me regrouped and rested some before heading back to spend next week at Mom's.I am exhausted but making it thru ok. The viewing for Dad was New Years Eve and even with the cold weather and holiday there were way over 200 people there. some stood in line for over an hour to make it up to the casket. We were so touched for the outpouring of love for him and our family. My family is generations strong in their town and everyone loved Dad. There were so many floral arrangements they were around the entire room. The funeral home did an awesome job....they are literally next door to my parents home so it was like family for them too. We had pictures everywhere and they had a lovely video of pictures playing with seats at the back for people to watch showing Dad from when he and my Mom married to this past Christmas. We stood constantly for 5 hours to get everyone thru. Old friend from high school came and didn't even recognize me :-) Then New Years Day was the funeral and every seat was full, amazing the love that came our way. Dad, I know was humble but so pleased to look down and see the loving support there for Mom and us. The 21 gun salute and taps playing at the Cemetery really tore me up but it was absolutely beautiful. Their church had a wonderful dinner following that had about 100 people there. I am pretty wore out now but so glad to have had a nights sleep in my own bed. Mom is doing well and I will go up Sunday morning for a memorial service the Church wanted to do for Dad and then plan to stay Thru at least Thursday getting things in line with Mom and my brother. I wish I were closer as Mom does so well with me and I hate not being there closer fro her. I will just play it by ear and hope to go up most weekends and spend time with her. Having such wonderful parents is such a blessing but the pain is so bad in parting with them.
Thank you all for your kind words, prayers, emails and remembrances.
Shanna, you as my elf last year were so awesome and I feel so blessed to have been with your sweet spirit. with all going on I haven't been able to post my thank you for being the best elf ever!
Sherri, your reply made me cry....you know ME so well and said it perfectly. I am keep your and Bill in my prayers as I know the tough time you are going thru taking care of his mother's things now. Best of luck on your test this week and I sure hope they get you "fixed" for 2009! :o)
i probably won't be on here much after tomorrow until next weekend as there is no computer at Mom's. You all be safe and I hope your 2009 is off to a good start with lots of love and joy in your heart.
Hugs to you all!

Boy it's been a while since I've been on here. I've been off from work using up some accumulated days. It was a very nice (very needed break). I'm refreshed and ready to hit the new year running. I've had a serious attitude adjustment. I hope it lasts.
New Year's was an exciting experience. We let our daughter have a new year's eve party. We rented the community building at church and had 16 seven year old girls ring in the new year with us. It was a total BLAST! We had a lot of activities planned and it went picture perfect. We were really nervous but things went so well. What a bunch of great kids. We did a count down each hour and moved a snowflake from hour to hour then did the big count down at midnight with crowns, horns and noisemakers. We really had a ball. Popped a movie in at one and I thought that would be all there was to it but only two went to sleep during the movie. Had to make everyone get in their sleeping bags and go to sleep at 3:00 a.m. Needless-to-say, I slept like a log last night. I went to bed at 8:00!
Also had a bit of a scare late yesterday afternoon. I was at my parents house when my brother called and said for Mom to get to his house ASAP. I drove her there (just down the road) and found my nephew in a puddle of blood in my brother's bathroom. He is only seven and had slipped in the kitchen while playing with his remote control car he got for Christmas. He hit his head on the corner of the counter and it nearly tore off the top of his ear. My dad drove them to the hospital while my brother held his son's ear together. The doctor got him calmed down and glued his ear back together! Isn't that amazing? No stitches, just glue. Said if it hadn't torn so much of the cartilage they wouldn't have done anything. Medicine amazes me. We're just glad it didn't do more damage than that. It could've been very dangerous if he had hit anywhere else. His eye or head or neck...wow.
Well, it's going to take me a while to get caught up both at work and on here. I'm hoping to make it to the next clothing exchange. It will depend on the weather.
Love you all and many smooches,
Jacqui
