Needing Help on Surgeon and BCBS of MI. PPO!!!!!
Hello all,
I am having a little problem that I am hoping someone out there can help me with.
I have a letter from my Insurance which is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan PPO even tho I live in Texas. The letter states something along the lines of I am covered for services (which are Abdominoplasty & Breast Lift).
And says that they are covered only if the are medically nesscary to which I feel that they are. And my PCP and Dr. Barker that did my Gastric Bypass say the sme thing. But the PS that I saw said he doesn't trust the letter and will not do it unless I pay him up front. But WOW who has that kind of money just laying around you know.
I told him that it was the same type of letter I got when I was approved for my Gastric Bypass and they paid for it 100%. But no go. So I am hoping that I can find a PS that takes BCBS PPO and knows about their letters and how they work and so forth.
So if there is anyone out there that can HELP ME!!!!! I would so appreciate it!!!
I will be 3 years out on Feb 23, of this year and I am so ready to get this and get my back pain and rashes and all my problems gone. All the doctors visits are taking a toll on me and my wallet.
