Insurance wait

This insurance wait is a killer!  I have done many thngs to qualify but I'm not sure they will accept them.  They said it will take 4-6 weeks to know.  Some of the things they have asked for are:  an organized  excersize program for which I was a member of Curves for a year., doctor supervised weight loss, I have gone to both my chiropractor and pcp, and a nutritionist for which I have not.  Do these things sound like they will be accepted?  I know others have been in my shoes.  Just thought I would mention them.  I will continue to wait, it has only been one week.

I have no advice just wanted to let you know I'm right there with you..I'm waiting it out also. You know all we can do it hope he was jump though all the hoops and if not know that we will and re apply. The stress of waiting is a killer, but I"m here with you as I'm sure lot of other people are! Keep your head up, Rebecca

Today I called the surgeon and they sent the information to insurance on the 15th.  Then I called the insurance to see if they have received it and they said they have not received anything.  What???  It doesn't take four days to get mail from 150 miles away.  I asked them to please check and I will get back with them on Monday.  ???? 

My info was mailed to United health care on 1/3/07 and I too called them and they had gotten it on 1/11/07 so it does take awail..I have no idea how long now but they told me 20 busness days ARG! that is like 45 calander days..that could be forever lol.  I have heard that UHC is faster then that but we will see.
