I can't get help...

I was advised to come to this forum for help. I am going to post my issue that has already appeared in the lap band forum here: I sent in the information and enrolled in the lapband program in Dec 2005. In Jan 2006, the plan changed. I was told I would have to abide by the new policies effective for 2006. (Since the ins lady didn't have the papers on her des****i Jan 2, although I have signature confirmation for dec 28th 2005) ANYWAY, I was required to go to the doctor several times, stay a member of the gym (which I joined in Nov 05 and still active member)...get all the paperwork signed, etc, etc... I started going to the dr once a month. THEN I was told I had to go and weigh in once a week and since I had not been doing that the program started over for me. So, I started going once a wee****il I realized I was being charged a little over $100 each week for an office visit...just to walk in and weigh (a $30 co-pay just to be weighed), which I thought was crazy. So I refused. I waited a couple of weeks until I heard back from someone who then said it was now a once a month weigh in. YET, the program started over, yet again. I have been going on like this for over a YEAR, trying to meet Insurance's requirements...which they seem to be able to change on a whim. If I get a letter of referral from my doctor stating this procedure (lap-band) is vital and needs to be done right away...can I just get it over with? I am 31 yrs old, infertile and weigh 330 lbs. When I started the lap-band program I weighed 273lbs...go figure. I have to lose weight if I am ever going to be able to start a family and live past the age of 40.  I don't know what to do. I am almost at the point of saying "forget it". Having to deal with the insurance issues are way too stressful. Is there anything I can do? Thank you for any help.
