Medicare Easy To Deal With

Well, I have just been waiting to hear from Centennial. I finally heard from them yesterday. My insurances have been verified and my WLS is covered 100%. Now all they need is 2-5 years of medical records and my Psych exam and I'm on my way.

I really hope this helps anyone that has Medicare as their primary insurance, especially if you live in TN and have TnCare as well. Of course a good strong letter from you PCP is always one of the best things to have, which I had. The Psych exam is not covered which will be $295.00 out of pocket but to me that's a small price to pay for such an awesome, amazing and very deserved tool to aid and assist me in getting a healthy, more normal lifestyle going for myself. I do wish you all the best of luck and may GOD continue to look upon us and bless us in all ways!

I'm not fat, I'm just wearing my parent's fat jeans (genes). I plan to pull 'em off and put 'em in the dryer and shrink 'em up soon

Just wondering....if Medicare is your primary and you do have a secondary...does Medicare not cover your psych eval and if not then does your secondary cover it????

In the state of Tennessee TNcare is their medical program and Medicare being my primary insurance is IT. TNCare is like a slack insurance for me if Medicare doesn't pay for it neither will they, if they don't thing it's neccessary. TNCare actually was actually the program to pay for my medications, they don't even do that any more. Medicare Part D does. But being in the hospital if there is anything left over or if there is anything that Medicare
happens not to pay for TNCare will pay for it, it's that cross over thing...how it works?! I don't know
Go figure!!! LOL

Secondly, Centennial has a discount on their Psych exams from a local Psychological testing center the original fee for this testing was around $600.00 but for Centennial they discounted this fee to $295.00 and they plainly said that insurance will not cover it. I'm not too concerned about that part. To me it's such a small price to pay for another chance at life and besides I've waited a long time for Medicare to jump on the bandwagon and pay for WLS and it finally happened. I must say that Medicare is easier to deal with when it comes to this kind of medical neccessity.
