Where do I start?

I finally switched Insurance providers and it is now into effect.  I know with out a question that I want to do this but I am not sure where to start.  I live in Kansas City MO and would like to talk to anyone that has done this.  My Insurance is Aetna, Open Choice PPO (not Sure what that means ).  Please Help.   Thanks

I'm in the process of submitting info to the Surgeon's office (they will handle all the insurance claims) and I'm also in Kansas City, on the Kansas Side.  I have chosen to go with Dr. Hoehn at The Bariatric Center of Kansas City.  http://www.kcbariatric.com/ You should first contact your insurance company and find out exactly what they require to be submitted before filing a claim, and then find out what doctors, hospitals and psychiatrists (if needed) are in your network.  Good Luck!!
