How much did you have to pay

I was approved and have a surgery date of june 4th for the lap band surgery i was just wondering how much you had to pay out of your pocket if the insurance covered 90%

Not really gonna be a whole lot of help here, but .... its really gonna depend on your dr and your insurance.   Your 10% is going to depend on whatever the allowable fee is.  If your Dr charges 15,000 but insurance only allows 10,000 then they'll pay 9000 and you pay 1000.  My suggestion would be to find out from your dr what they charge for the surgery and to check with the hospital to find out a rough idea of what their charge will be...... then call your insurance and see what they have contracted for allowable fees.  Your dr's office may even have this information..... you probably won't get an exact cost, but you should be able to get a close estimate, so you'll have an idea.
