How closely do you think the insurance looks at the proof of  diet documents?  I am trying to have the surgery in July (simply because I am a teacher and wouldn't need to take off work).  I started weigh****chers but won't "officially" make the  full three month mark til July 14th and I was trying to schedule for July 16th....so my question is, would they look and see that I have been going in April and May and June and say ok....three months... or do you think they say it's got to be 3 full months like April 14th to  July. 14th??? Why can't this be easy?  :)

Most insurances require the diet to be physician supervised so WW wouldn't work. However, if your insurance approves WW as a supervised diet then they would want to see weigh ins for a full three month period. They will look at the dates. I would recommend trying to adhere to their requirements as closely as possible. Call an advocate and ask. I know how frustrating waiting can be but it would be better in the approval process. I pray that you are approved!

My insurance stated that you could use Jenny Craig, WW or any of those... BUT you still had to see a doctor to have it put in their notes. GOOD LUCK
