diet documentation

I called my insurance company, First Priority, BC of NEPA and I was happy to hear that WLS surgery is covered.  One of the requirements is documentation of repeated failure of multiple (at least 3) rigorous programs to lose weight . ie Weigh****chers, Jenny Craig etc.  One being within the last two years preceding request for surgery.  I think that I have tried every diet known to man but I never thought that I would ever be having surgery so unfortunately,  I did not save ANYTHING from my past attempts at diets.  Is it a lost cause trying to get approved without it?  Should I try 3 more diets for he next 18 mos and then try to get approved?  Any advice is appreciated. thanks

In these days of computerized records, maybe it is worth contacting WW, Jenny, etc., to see if they can come up with records for you.  Worth a try?

I feel every bit of your let down, moreover, I can offer nothing in the way of advice, only support in letting you know you're not alone!  I too have done just about every diet known to mankind but documented nothing...  (never could afford Jenny Craig, Weigh****chers, etc.) I'll be watching this post closely ~ hopefully someone out there can help both of us!!
