Second Approval???????

I was just wondering if anyone had any insight, I had to purchase Personal Choice as an individual, after losing my group plan. Personal Choice approved me for surgery, when the hospital tried to resubmit  prior to surgery they said it was a prexsisting condition and would not cover. I then had to switch to a BCBS continued coverage plan that does not have a prexsisting condition exclusion, Barix submitted a request for approval a week ago and it is still pending, shouldn't they cover because it's the same company? I have been waiting to be scheduled for this surgery for the past two months, I feel like I keep hitting road blocks. I just want to get healthy!!!!!!! Thanks, Cindy

Not sure Cindy, but good luck! Are you working with Vicki in the insurance department??? She is amazing and really helped me out when the insurance company didn;t want to give me an approval letter. I am now just waiting to be scheduled.
