On average, how have you fared against exclusions?

Would you be willing to tell me your experience with overcoming exclusions in insurance? How hard/easy was it, what kind of insurance do you have....that sort of thing.

My employer is self-insured. Our insurance is through Preferred One but we use Benifit Admin. Systems (BAS) to administer the "Plan". Our PLAN has an exclusion WLS, but Preferred One allows it. I am currently investigating the contradidction and will post pack when I hear more form my HR people. Sorry I could really provide any helpful info, but I'm in the same boat with ya!!
