Oxford Liberty 6 Month Diet????

Hey Everyone, Do any of you have oxford liberty who had/having RNY and if so, did they make you do the 6 month medically supervised diet before your surgery? Thanks for any feedback!

This seems to be a common practice among insurance companies. I believe there is a sticky post at the top of this forum. There are some of us in California that are fighting against our Insurance company's practice of requiring a program called Healthy Roads, which is not specific to bariatric surgery, but rather just a program that the insurance uses to get you to do a six-month "diet" of sorts. I don't know what your state requires or allows; California has the most protective laws for patients, as far as I know...but I'm not an expert.
