What else can I send Aetna for proof of obesity for the five year clause? Is it really a big beal when you have a BMI of 64?

Yep, they require it and are sure to deny it based on the fact that you have none. Get anything that you can (past er visits, urgent care, work physicals, etc). You're likely going to have to appeal and whether they'll waive it is anyone's guess.

I also have Aetna and I never go to the Dr unless I'm knocking on death's door!  I sent for records from every single Dr and hospital that may have treated me in the past 7 years.  I was lucky enough that I was able to find one note for each of the past 5 years that had my weight and height listed.  Aetna is very strict with their requirements ( the insurance coordinator at my surgeon's office said that they are a nightmare  to deal with).  Try to get all of your records.  Maybe you'll be surprised.

You may be able to use employer physicals, and any gov't document. I forget if weight is asked on passport, but it would be a "self-reporting" of wt, and they may not consider it. Some states have wt on driver's lic. If you were ever fingerprinted for a background check for a job, they usually ask weight. HHmmm, or if you were ever arrested???.... (sorry, just trying to help). I do know one person *****fused to ever have her doc weight her, but I think she at least had some documentation in the doctor's notes that she refused, yet was Morb Obese as a diagnosis. Good luck, Kahlua
