Awful Time waiting on approval of Gastric Sleeve

Hi All, I have BCBS of Georgia a replacement for Medicare..And I'm now in appeal since Jan...I keep calling and nothing..In the mean time my Blood pressure is getting worse...I did email the  Insurance Commissioners of Georgia Wednesday. I'll call BCBS Monday again ! Grateful Kathryn and Handsome Rascal

Good Luck!  I hope you get an approval.  I have an appt with Dr. Macik on March 17.  I am hoping for the VSG too.  Keep us posted. Laurie

Hi Laurie, Dr. Macik is not a people person..but I know he is good at his craft..Which is very important to me. My friend Debbie just had her Gastric Sleeve two weeks ago and is back to work. I doubt we have the same insurance..Medicare is 500 years behind..My family Doctors words.LOL I want the Gastric Sleeve without the bypass..Just the Sleeve.. Yes, keep me posted..I go on the VSG form a lot...Kathryn and Handsome Rascal
