VSG approval in WA?

Hello all! I am new to the forum, and am in the process of scheduling surgery, hopefully in April. I live in Washington state, and am curious if anyone has had success getting the VSG procedure approved by insurance in the state of WA? My insurance co is Blue Cross of CA (my company is based in CA), and I am on a PPO plan. I know I can get coverage for a lap-band and for RNY, but I would really prefer to have the sleeve. Of course, I can't afford to do it without coverage, so it may be a lost cause. The center I am working with (Puget Sound Surgical Center), has not had many (if any) patients approved through Premera Blue Cross, but since my coverage is a bit different, I am still hoping.
