Anyone trying to get approval through great west helathcare policy for colorado state...

Hi if you have Great west healthcare insurance through the state of Colorado I would love to talk to you. I'm trying to get more information on them, and their policy. Currently my mothers policy states that they will only cover up to $7,000.00 of any bariatric surgery, and absolutely no coverage for complications. I am not 100% sure but I believe this policy is specific to the states insurance only.  I am trying to get more info on this and also am looking for people who are trying to get approval for FULL coverage of bariatric surgery through this policy. We are currently trying to start a letter writing campaign to see if we can get this policy changed  for Colorado state employees, so that it will include full coverage of bariatric surgery.  If you have any information or would like to help with this letter writing campaign please PM me.  Thanks

I don't know about your state specifically but I have arizona state employees insurance.  My appeal letter is the one that one me my surgery.  It would work for you or anyone in any state if you need it. Its specific to state insurance and how the state will pay for the surgery with any other state aid coverage and not health insurance for WORKING people.
