   Hi there....I am really interested in getting on that recipe's list but I never get an acknowledgement of my login and I get thrown out whenever I try to logon. 

Do you have any tips that I could try?

Just try going to bakespace.com and joining without the other stuff that gives me credit for u joining up.  That contest they were having was like a  yr ago.  So that link may not work anymore.

If u dont get it then I'll contact the lady that owns the website.
