Any tips for heavy coffee drinkers?

I may not being having my surgery for 4 months but I have already begun the weening process that way I am not in total shock after surgery. I am a coke addict I have to have my soda to wake up, one in the car to work, 2 or 3 at work, one on the way home etc.... So I recorded how much I was drinking about 10 20 oz a day, I am not down to 7 and by surgery time I should be off of it for good. I am doing the same with sweets and alll the stuff I can't have post-op. I am going to do what I must to make this work.

OMG how can you drink 10 a day w/o your hands trembling? I used to drink about four but cut back to one(sometimes large)cup a day--it's really not as hard and you'd think. Also, I had to have diet soda whenever I could, and I hardly miss it at all(still have it occasionally when I crave it) Good luck to you
