That is very interesting Susan!  I will try that. There is a full moon coming up on the 1st and I'm planning on hanging out with it for awhile. Seriously. Anyway, you know in the Bugs Bunny cartoons when Bugs takes the Jekell and Hyde potion and starts twitching and cacking? That's about where I'm headed, so I will definately do some meditation so nobody gets hurt........Thank you....=o)

Vicki: With your life such as it is right now.....it seems like the unoriginal answer is stress. Poor sweetie pie! If i could take you on my vacation this week I would! Our bodies never let us off the hook do they. I was just fitted for a tooth guard at night because of the grinding thing.....eye twitching is a lot sexier than this nerdy retainer looking tooth guard! Just ask my husband. Vicki, I am a nurse practitioner.  First, is there drainage?  Have you injuried your eye in any way?  Have you started on any new meds?  There are tons of things that can make you eye twitch.  A good place for nonmedical people to find quick answers is webmd.com.  Here is an excerpt I went there and found for you. Eyelid twitching

Eyelid twitching or muscle spasms around the eye are most often linked with fatigue or stress. The condition often is caused or made worse by drinking caffeine, smoking cigarettes, or not getting enough sleep. Jerky or jumping eye movements (nystagmus) may also look like twitching. Twitching of the eyelids will usually stop on its own in a short time and will improve with rest or reduced stress.

Call a health professional if:

  • You have constant twitching.
  • Twitching occurs with redness, swelling, discharge from the eye, or fever.
  • Twitching comes and goes and lasts longer than a week.
