Hi all ,  I am pretty new to this site.  Has anyone been through the process with Kaiser.  I would like to know what to expect.  My PVP told me I had to see a pysch. and a nutrionalist.  Before  I could get a referral to a surgeon.  Then what?  Reading all your post get me very excited to start the journey.   Could you also tell me what the Pm is you all are referring too. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advice...I love reading your stories! Bridget

Hi Bridget! I hear that the Kaiser process is difficult, depending on your cir****tances.  The big "hurdle" is that the usually make you lose 10% of your body weight prior to surgery.  I've heard LOTS of complaints about that.  Btw, I don't have Kaiser, but I am familiar with them since I had that coverage for most of my life (I was born at a Kaiser hospital and so were all of my kids-- all in No. Calif.).  I also know someone who is currently going through this process with Kaiser. Anway, Pm = Private Message.  If you click on a person's avitar/picture, it takes you to their profile where you can click on "send a message".  This is not to be confused with PBing = productive burp, a problem that can happen if you eat to fast or take too big of bites. Ask away, and keep reading the boards! Peace, Rana
