Good Morning to all!!  Just curious if anyone has tried the Vitamin Water....I know it has 13 grams of sugar....but is this an okay choice to supplement our Vitamins?  I actually like the taste...no after taste and not too sweet.  All opinions welcomed! Have a great weekend! Katie

I'm not sure what type of vitamin water you are talking about so I will take a stab at this one. Personally, I just drink good old fashion water and take a multivitamin. I personally don't drink anything that has sugar in it especially since sugar is a trigger for me. What does your nut say about it? My advise is to do what works for you. I don't think I was much help. Sorry.

Hi Beth....let me say I've been checking out your pics and you look great!!!  The water is actually called VitaminWater...contains 50% of daily vitamins in one serving.  I have been having bad experiences with my vitamins and stopped takng them about 2 months ago...and I definitely can feel the difference.  To me SUGAR IS EVIL!!!  But it doesn't seem to bother me if it's not in cake, cookies etc....cuz if I have sugar in those items...I CRAVE more and more.  My NUT never has any good opinion, definitely not happy with her...her comment is always "Well, you lost 150#...you must be doing something right!"  Realisticly, I know that, but thanks for that great input is what I'd like to say! Thanks for responding....I guess I was just happy I liked the taste..I usually go with my plain ole water too! Keep up the good work! Katie

I personally love vitamin water but it does have suger so it is not calorie free.  I use it to supplement my water in take. I've given up sodas so I feel like this is an okay substitute when I can't look at another glass of plain ol' water.  As for vitamins, I heard that this doesn't have enough vitamins to really do anything for you.  I don't think it hurts but they are tasty so if thats what it takes to get the water in, I'm all for it.

Katie - There is really no need at all to supplement vits. We are absorbing all the vits and minerals in the foods we eat, and taking a multi vit on top of that. We're getting plenty - 100% of many things simply from the vit alone.  Any extra goes into the toilet, so save your money and save the calories! And there are so little Vits in these waters, it's useless anyway. It's just a gimmic to sell them. Judt eat well, with attention to meeting the protein, good carb, grain and dairy needs. That's REALLY all we need. Sandy R

Sandy, thanks for responding...I hoped you would.  The thing is I AM NOT taking a daily vitamin...having issues...I'm not too tight, other meds are fine...but the Vitamin...even the liqid make me gag...so....I wanted to drink the vitamin water instead...???? Let me know what you think.  I try to eat balanced, but I haven't been as disciplined with my veggies as I did during the first 150# loss.   Thanks! Katie

Have you tried Viactiv?  I know they don't have the minerals we need, but seems to me they would be better than nothing.  If it's the same vitamin water my daughter drinks, it has 50 calories per serving with 2.5 servings per bottle.  I'd rather do the Viactiv!   lol

You are sooo sweet!!!   Thanks so much!  Well, Katie...I guess I'd be a little afraid of those Viactiv too!  lol  Imagine!  Losing TWO fillings!!!  I just cannot stand the Centrum Chewables, but you might like them!  If you can do the water and figure in the calories, go for it!  I love the taste too!  I had some of Hil's today.  It's very tasty!   Keep up the EXCELLENT work!  150 pounds??????????  AMAZING!   And FABULOUS!  Huge congrats!

If you're taking an adult formula multivitamin, what is there to supplement? Nancy
