Horrible stomach pain after eating popcorn (TMI)

I believe it was the 2 cups of popcorn I ate yesterday while on vacation at Ocean City, MD. The pain started after 9:00 PM, it felt like contractions. Yes, contractions! Every five minutes I had the worst sharp pain in my stomach! I could not lay down on my back or side. My poor DH could only look at me, and tried to comfort me. My 4 year old slept while I cried in pain. I also vomited several times,  but I did not have a bowel movement. This was the first time I had experienced something not agreeing with me since my surgery.

What did I learn? NO MORE POPCORN FOR ME!!!!

Wow! Sorry you had that experience on vacation. That stinks!  I used to love popcorn but its not much fun to eat since you can't drink while you snack so I just have it on rare occasions.  I almost had a disaster at dinner last night.  DH and I went to a Japanese Steakhouse and ordered Sashimi  and boy did that not work!  I thought for sure I was going to waste it but thankfully it went down! Live and learn!

Thanks Sal.  DH and I got dolled up for our anniversary dinner last night so we had some folks take a couple pics so I could update my site.  Im usually the family photographer so Im rarely in the pics.

Nope, from what I have read, popcorn is not your friend.  Don't go there.  Learned a good lesson.  Take Care.
