Ok, I've put this post off but I'm open to hear answers
Hey you almost skinny thing you.....
try changing your routine a little....maybe eat a little more one day and a little less the next...I believe the body just gets used to what we're giving it and kind of sits still for a while and stabilizes.
Also....drink more water if you can...it always helps me...I generally have about 75 to 80 oz.....and it also has the benefit of minimizing wrinkles...........at least I always thought that.
And.....exercise truly helps.........you may not see weight loss at first (because you're building muscle which as you know is heavier than fat) but you will definitely see inches lost in a matter of weeks. I'm headed back to the gym next week...I've missed it this summer because of some pain in my side and back...and have also been swimming for exercise, but my pool closes after Monday, so it's back to the machines for me....and I'm going to try Pilates too.
I hope this helps..........and see, I didn't give you any of the stock answers either.....I didn't want to get into trouble...........LOL

Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.
Hi Krista:
I understand your frustration. I did the same thing. I still don't have any explanation as to WHY my body did what it did, but I went through quite a frustrating time of not losing after about the 4th week after surgery. THen, one day....3 lbs were just GONE. The next day...another pound. Then I went a couple of weeks again with nothing. It has been the story of my life since the band. I dont' understand it, and probably never will. Just hang in there girl...It WILL come off.
PS....I used to say the same thing about WW. LOL

I was exactly where you are...lost 13 pounds the first 2 weeks, then not losing a single pound but really doing good on eating less, and wasn't exercising. Then I went to Curves and workouted...the next day, I dropped a pound! Now I exercise all the time! It really helps at my age...almost 50. That's all I'm going to say...excerise! If you yell at me I'll start crying!

How about this one...I went almost 3 months, yes I said 3 months losing ZERO, NADA ZILCH...nothing! But I was losing inches...the scale wasn't moving but my pants were getting bigger.
I also agree with Trisha...I won't lose if I'm not under 1000 calories a day.
Oh and just to be smart...you know this is a time of healing right?
