Anyone tried Bolthouse Farms Protein Drinks and Smoothies?

They are the BOMB!  High in carbs but they are actually tasty!  Walmart just lowered the price by my office to $1.98 too.

I have tried them, and they are tasty.  The nutritional values were a concern to me for me.  I don't like the amount of sugar in these drinks.

I agree. They are not something I would do daily but sometimes I can't get my protein in or even enough calories in after a fill and this makes it easier.  Most of the protein drinks are high - especially if the don't taste like .  I wish I would have had these right after surgery.

Sillygirl, What is the exact name of the drinks? Bolthouse? Do they sell them anywhere else? I have never seen them.  I have my surgery coming up soon.  I'll run over and get some. Thanks! btw, how many carbs are there?

Bolthouse Farms . They have alot of carbs but I can't drink a whole on in one sitting.  YOU definitely won't after surgery. They are in the produce section by the Naked Juice and fresh cider.  Walmart for sure has them.  Kroger has them too but they are WAY more expensive.

I would agree they would be a good treat every once in a while.  Not a daily basis kind of thing for me.

My kids love the Bolthouse Farms smoothies as a treat! I was so happy to find that I like the protein ones because I plan to use them post-op.  They are delicious!!!

They are great.  I get them at Dominicks/Jewels in the metro Chicagoland area.

Be careful with SOY based proteins.  New research now says soy inhibits protein synthesis, and blocks absorbtion of protein.  The opposite of what we want.  Maybe this is why vegetarians never look that good.  They always look unhealthy to me.

Good thing Bolthouse Farms are whey protein rather than soy then, I guess!
