Update on band

I'm sorry you are having issues with your band, hopefully it can come out and they can do another WLS to replace it. But if not, I have read from several former lap banders that sometimes the band needs to come out and their stomachs need to heal first and then the revision can be done. Good luck on your up coming surgery. Scott

Wow, I hate to hear this!  Was it really a gall bladder attack or symptoms of the band eroding?   Good luck on your surgery!

Laura, I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble with your band. I pray for you that things will work out as you want them to and that the dr is able to give you a bypass. You've done so well. Sorry I haven't been on here for a long time. I've been doing well, but when I got on here tonight, I realized that I've neglected some very good friends, like you. I am so sorry too Laura,...but it is better that they found this and are doing it to make you not be in danger! If the revision doesnt happen right away, it will soon. It is part of your "journey" and you will be fine! My thoughts are with you
