Mick, Thanks!  I checked out the demo and it's pretty cool. I just ordered a bio-trainer.  Can't afford a body-bugg. Jean

Don't you also have to subscribe to a monthly service with the Body Bugg? If so, how much is it? Thanks for the info Mick [Wouldn't it be so cool if they could invent something that calculates, on it's own,  how many calories you eat? Not entering the info yourself. I often wonder how much I miscalculate, specially on portion size.]

You usually get the first three months free, then you can pay $15 a month recuring, or $29 for one month, 3 months for $39, or one year for $99.

Yeah, I would love to have something that would count the actual calories I eat. I know no matter how hard I try to keep track, it's probably still not that accurate.

They have that.  It's called a nutritionist!  Unfortunately, mine charges $120/hour so I can't afford her.  But I do print out the reports from the BioTrainer site and go over them with her.  Usually I print out 5 days worth and meet with her once a month.  She gives me feedback on balanced diet, how well I spread my calorie intake over the day, etc. I don't get super caught up in calories in.  I strive for balanced eating (lean protein, whole grain carb & fresh fruit or veggie with each meal) and I try to use the BioTrainer's suggestions to get more vitamins.  It takes some practice but I like it. I can't wait for their next version: www.biotrainercentral.com - it's supposed to have bulletin boards, user groups, challenges and more.  So they say!

I'm going to drive to KC this weekend to pick up my Bodybugg (no 24hour fitnesses in my area). It's a two hour drive, but worth not having to impatiently wait on the mailman for. I'm getting the digital display with it, and the whole thing is $299. I'm so excited!

I'm getting the biotrainer for my husband. Since it wears like a pedometer, it would probably work better for him than me. It says you should clip it to your belt right over the pleat of your pants. I don't know how that would really work with sweats:)

I want one so bad!  I am talking my husband into it, I don't think he is buying into it though, at least not yet.  I think the closest 24 hr fitness is in Denver, over 3 hours away, but when I go for my next fill I am going to check it out!!! Let us know how it works out. Chrissy
