I got through surgery fine. I'm dealing ok with the incision pain, but my back hurts really bad. Could that possibly be gas pain? It's my low back like around the kidneys.

Congratulations on your recent surgery! Yes.........I think you are experiencing gas pain. I had a lot of that. Try a heating pad.......that will help. Also just walking around helps relieve that gas. Take care.........Holly

Congrats!!! I am one week out and the heating pad, along with Gas X strips, were my life savers! I put the heating pad on my chest, my shoulder, my tummy - anywhere there was pain, and it helped tremendously. Vickie

Hey, nice to see you back. I just read on a recent post that someone said to swing your arms like a windmill (or just like a crazy person) and that helps with the pain almost immediately. I know when I get my surgery done on friday, if there is pain I will be trying just about anything to get rid of it. I am so glad it went well for you! Now you are on your way!!
