Icees have carbonation

A few weeks ago, someone posted on here that they get icees to curb their need for a cola now and then. They stated that icees don't have carbonation. I looked this up on Wikipedia and they DO have carbonation. Just in case anyone care. . .:)

are you sure because crystal light does not have carbonation so why would the slurpee version?

I believe she was refering to the "soda" icees I know they had diet pepsi at one time by me. Not the crystal light ones

Not slurpees or slushies or mister misty's. I am talking about the cola, dr. pepper, wild cherry ones you get at convenience stores, movie theatres etc. I think at my movie theatre they call it an Arctic Blast. I grew up with them called Icees.

Be careful - even the Crystal Lite Slurpees at 7-11 have lots of carbs.....and I believe they do have some carbonation.  If I HAVE to have some carbs, I prefer mine crunchy as opposed to liquid

For the Info of my fellow lap banders Icees DO have carbonation and so do the the freeze drinks at Taco Bell!!  Let me just say I know first hand.....but Slush puppies do not have carbonation....ICEE drinks are ran thru a Bag In Box (carbonation system)  It is very very minimal but they do.....
All a slush puppie has is lots of calories....LOL

I had said I get an icee at the movies every now and then but I know they have carbonation - just not nearly as carbonated as a regular soda to me at least.

I just found it worth checking out since I LOVE cola and I LOVE Icees. I tried about three drinks and new there was carbonation cuz I was all gassy and burpy LOL! Anyway, just posting what I found out. I really wanted and Icee dangit!

Cola icees most definitely do have carbonation.  A couple of weeks ago my grandson was drinking one and I asked him for a sip.  Talk about feel weird.  I could feel the carbonation immediately.  It was right then and there I knew I wouldn't be sneaking any cokes (my weakness).  The carbonation felt really funny in my stomach.
