Gas X question - strips vs. gel pills

Hello,

I can't seem to find the Gas X strips at any of the stores.  I do have the gel pills but haven't wanted to take a pill.  Although, I have been taking pain pills and they have been going down fine.  The Gas X pill is small so do you think it would be OK for me to take one or is there some other reason why I should be doing the strip?

Your help is appreciated.

The pills are fine.  I took two at a time and didn't have any problems.  I thought they actually worked better than the strips!

Hey! I had my surgery November 25...I had horrible gas pains in my shoulder blades...walk as much as you can..I didnt and I paid for it.  I did the strips but they didnt work much....but I bought some little gel pills called phazyme..(I think that is how it is spelled) and they worked great.  You are only supposed to take two a day though....

Not sure if you like them, but they do have gas relief in chewables.  They worked for me.

I didn't have any luck with the gas-x strips either.  I had horrible gas pain right up into my shoulder and ..believe it or not...the back of my neck and head..but I took the gel pills and they helps soooo much.

Good luck getting rid of the gas...and yes, walking along with the pills and sometimes flapping your arms like a chicken while walking will help too.  Sounds silly, but I swear it worked for me.

Thanks everyone,

Fortunately, all of my 'surgery gas' pain was gone the day after surgery.  Now I am struggling with actual stomach gas and diarrhea.  The diarrhea isn't terrible and I suppose it is much better then constipation and maybe it is just because I have only had liquids for the past 5 days.  I went with taking a Gas X pill and I feel a little better.  Thanks for the advice.
