The other thing is that %EWL is based on the amount you need to lose to reach a normal BMI. Not everyone will reach that, because BMI doesn't make sense for everyone (it doesn't work well for me - I don't think I'll ever be 184 lbs unless I lose a lot of muscle.)

Well with all of us who are going to reach 100%, that should help the statistics!  Keep your eye on the prize and do what you need to do.

Love the comment about "the lapband curse"!

I am also concerned because I am a slow loser to begin with.......I also think it has to do with what weight they put down as a goal weight......they are telling me that I am only 5" 3" and that I should weigh around 123 lbs.

I know that between 145-150 is going to be good for me I am a 8-10 and look great at that weight(although I only was that for about 6 months in my life).

So if they figure effective weight loss on the 123 I will never make 100% however if I make it to 145 I will consider myself at goal.......maybe???
