I'm just doing my best to get the show on the road lol... I don't even know what it will be like to be 140lbs-- but I'm totally ready to get there and find out!! You are doing great too, so you must be doing something right!!!!

Yeay for you! I love hearing success stories. I can hear the determination in your words and although tough, you can do the 5k run. I am just a few days out of surgery and I am hoping I can get back to running myself. I also hear discouraging words inside my head about doing so, but people like you on the board show me that it is attainable. Good luck and keep doing what your doing!

It's so strange to be referred to as a "success story", never thought that I could be! The running is hard to get into... but after a while, it's not too bad! There's a website someone had on here yesterday that has a good training program for a 5k... I think it's called Couch Potato to 5k in 9 weeks. It starts you out slow and gradually builds up to a 5k. 

Congrats on your surgery! So exciting!!! Those voices get smaller and smaller- just do your thing and you're going to do fantastic!

Congratulations Vicki!
You and I are about 6 weeks apart in our surgery dates.  I just recently hit my half-way mark too!  Isn't it a great feeling?  I'm so impressed with the entire band process.
Wow!  You have lost all of that wait without a fill yet?  I've had 2 fills already.  I skipped my third fill appt because I have very good restriction right now.
