I used to see a therapist that ran an eating disorder awareness group and the motto was "Don't weigh your self-esteem". I thought it was pretty good, but yours is better. Focusing on a healthy lifestyle rather than on what not to do is great advice. Thanks, from a newbie.

I can't wait to RUN --- I don't care if I am still 200 pounds or 170 pounds -- I just want to be able to run.

Great advice!!! thanks for sharing.

Hello,

I recently started running and I feel GREAT afterwards too.  I am training to do a 5k and my goal is to be able to run the whole thing by September.  I have other ones planned prior to that which I will run/walk - first one is June 6.  This is the first time I have ever tried to run.  I've almost always exercised but never ran.  I sure wish I would have because I have never felt this good.

Thanks for the advice on reaching healthy goals rather then a weight or size goal.  I have to work on that.

Kelly

Good luck with your runs. How exciting for you. I think you'll become addicted to them . It's a powerful feeling when you complete it!! Best wishes!!
