I bought some cans of peaches. I drain and rinse them especially well. Today I have been eating quite a few peaches and I noticed I seem to have filled out some in my face.
What do y'all think of eating canned fruit as part of a weight loss diet? Do you use it? Does it hold up your weight loss?

As a "part" of a wholesome diet it is fine as long as you consider the sugar content, many of them are packed in corn syrup and even sugarfree ones have a certain amount of natural sugar. I wouldn't use them as the sole diet food but added to good solid protein and some veg it should be fine. We need the fiber in them. Solid protein should be our main food but these are an acceptable addition to a meal. Yummy too!
This is just a guess on my part - but canned peaches, whether packed in syrup or water would be very much like a slider food. Its not that they are overly high in calories, and if accounted for in your daily diet - are healthy. However, they are cooked, peeled and just slide down your throat. If they slide down your throat, they probably slide through the band.
Not saying don't eat them, but if you can, eat fresh peaches instead, it would probably give you more vitamins, and fill you up more.
