Unjury Unflavored Protein - Suggestions?
Hello Everyone,
I have a few containers of unflavored protein and I'm looking for ways to mix it in different foods. I tried to mix it with tuna salad today......and let's just say......gross!!!! It turned like...into liquid...why? Anyway, I couldn't stomach it, it just looked awful. So if anyone has some suggestions I'd be more than greatful...I have to get more protein in. Oh yeah, and I'm not a coffee drinker. Thanks a million!

I am on Unjury's e-mailing list now that I order Chicken Soup & Unflavored from them. They send me recipes for mixing it into pudding (like today I got a recipe for Pumpkin Pie Pudding). Perhaps you can sign up for this e-mailing list too?
I love the Chicken Soup, girl. It is so good on a cold day. Best of luck to you! :)

Last May, prior to getting my Lap-Band installed in July, I bought a bunch of Unjury Protein Powder in preparation. I've opened and used part of one full size container each of Vanilla, one Chocolate, one of Strawberry Sorbet, one Unflavored, and one Chicken Soup. I'm not fond of any of it but can't stomach the unflavored powder in anything.
I've still got six boxes of Office Travel Packs (6 individual packets each) that have never been opened plus one full size container of Strawberry Sorbet and three full size containers of Unflavored powder that's never been opened. I bought it on May 30th of this year and it still sits in the box it was shipped to me in. It's a shame it's not being used just because I don't like it, especially since it is expensive (worth $104.55 on the Unjury website). If you are interested in it I will make you an offer you can't refuse. Just message me with some contact info and we will discuss it.

I mix a scoop into powdered Jello Sugar Free pudding mix before I add the milk.
If you like coffee, you could mix some into your milk/creamer (to make it a liquid) and then add it to coffee.
You could do the same with sugar-free hot cocoa mix
When I was newly banded, I mixed about /12 a scoop into some berry flavored apple sauce --- not so good!

I get my favorite flavors of Walmart's version of Crystal Light, in the single serving packets, and add it to unflavored Unjury, with water, in a 20 oz bottle that I saved from other 20 oz drinks (like Special K protein water). I even put the dry powders in clean bottles, take them to go, and add water when I need to, then shake and I've got a 20 gram protein meal. (But it does mix better when you put in the water first, then the powders--I use a funnel for the powders.)
I always use the unflavored this way, I don't think I could use it in an actual food. The drink mixes are usually strong enough that you really don't taste the Unjury---it's just a thicker drink.
Jerry--sorry you don't like the Unjury. If you haven't already tried it like this, or with your favorite Crystal Light flavor, give it a shot.
