Here are the stats for my protein shake:

1 scoop of Chocolate Unjury protein powder w/ 8 oz. skim milk:

Calories - 190
Fat - 0
Carbs - 9
Protein - 28

(I just figured out those stats this morning.)

I think it's perfect. Great amount of protein. No fat...low calorie. As long as it fills you up for a few hours.

That sounds pretty good.  Do you have the rest of your meals for the planned out?

No, unfortunately that is the only meal of my day that I am able to plan.  Lunch and Dinner could be anytime, any place, anywhere.

I know you will make smart choices.
Be sure regardless where you stop for something that you write it down.  That way you can look up the contents if they are not readily available for you.  I have a great book that gives you the protein, carbs, fat, and cals for over 40,00 food products and chain restaurants.  I've been taking the thing with me everywhere especially the supermarket.

I do not like logging my intake, and vowed as a pre-op to neevr do it, even if it meant I would be fat for the rest of my life.

I hope I didn;t sound mean in saying that.  Thanks for the suggestion.  I'm just not a logger.

Not to bad.  I've been eating protein and veggies, but haven't had a chance to get a good workout in.  The weather over here is nuts 70 one day and 50 the next.

Sounds good!

I can't remember your precise history but i know you are trying to get back on track. So my only question is, do protein shakes fill you? This is meant as a helpful question! For me, any liquid, however thick, makes me feel full immediately but the effect goes very quickly and I get hungry. To get that amount of protein in solid form would give more calories but I always preferred slightly higher cals and less hunger!

Ignore this if you have just had a fill or whatever and are on liquids!
