Does weight loss effect you tubal ligation
I had my tubal just 9 months before my band so it was all over my paperwork and my surgeon never said one thing. Plus I can't really see how it could affect it. I mean at least with my tubal they cut the tubes in two places, tied off both ends, and burned them. I dont think even weight loss could change anything there.

Heads up ladies - I'm in the .01%
I had twins in October 93 and then another baby in Feb of 95...After the third child was born...and realizing we had three kids under 17 mos old - I opted for my tubes to be tied immediately after the third's birth. NINE years later....I was in complete denial for about five months - but once I felt the baby kick - I knew it - PREGNANT!!!! I had to have my fourth child by c-section, as I did all the others prior, and the doctor's were baffled by the fact that both tubes still had 1 inch gaps in them from being cut, tied, burned, etc...in 95.
So, even though most tubals are a great birth control method - - it's not 100%! Our fourth child, Alivia, will be six in April - the other three are now 16, 16 and soon to be 15 (next month)
Oh and I have had my band since November 2008....I am hoping and praying it doesn't affect my second tubal I had six years ago....My tubes now have two - 2 inch gaps in each of them.....I begged the doctor to nip them at the bud - but she wouldn't do it...LOL
