There are special vitamin formulas for "Hair, Skin, Nails".  They usually have high doses of biotin.

Another nutrient that is extremely important for healthy hair is iron.  I don't recommend iron from vitamin sources because it can cause some very unpleasant side effects.  Here is a link for a site where you can compare nutrients in foods

Protein and iron usually go hand in hand.  Clams are an very good source of both.  Vitamin C helps with the absorption of iron.

A lot of folks don't like clams, but you can make a chowder with canned clam with veggies in a tomato base.  Tomatoes are a good source of vitamin C.

Green leafy veggies are usually a good source of iron and many other vitamins and minerals.

You have had very good weight lose and it is not unusual to stall for quite a while before you start to lose again.

Hard boiled eggs are a good protein snack.
