It can be intimidating , but once you get going it can then become addictive.
Thought I'd post to this topic. I make comments on people's posts occasionally if I feel like I have some experience that might help.
will say that I am precautious when I post based on some of the feedback people get when posting. I've read a few posts recently that this site has got some mean people who are not helpful but hurtful, therefore, I think a bit before I comment on stuff.

I really haven't seen any mean posts lately. I know some of us are very passionate in our replies, but I really haven't seen any mean posts in awhile. I have actively been reeling in my aggressive behavior. I know that I also may fail at it some days, but I am trying.

I lurk, have for years.
I had an emergent Band to VSG revision. Learned I'd been sleeved after I became coherent in the ICU around 16 days post-op. Glad I only had it (the band) for 6 months before my surgeon realzied it was a bad idea. That thing did not take long in me to rear it's ugly troublesome head and for that I am thankful. Thank goodness he sleeved me and kept me alive, literally.
