post surgery questions
I felt gas pressure for a while after surgery. I can not remember how long it lasted though. Just keep walking and stretching your arms and drinking water. As far as feeling worse when you stand up, I would ask your doc. Not being able to take a deep breath could be from swelling again if it continues call your doc. Congrats on your surgery!!! You should start feeling like yourself again shortly. Hang in there.

My gassy feelings were much better around day 4. Are you walking 2-3 times a day? I did short 10-20 min walks a couple time and that help to move the gas out. I remember putting my hands in my jacket and holding my tummy as I walked, it did feel tight. I think some people take gas-x. Call you doc Monday and just run it by him/her.
