I am on pre-op and starving. The co-ordinator said I could have yogurt and I am looking for one that tastes good and is good for pre or post op

It's very good for us, has lots of protein too.

Is that the Greek yogurt?  I got a few Yoplait Greek yogurts for 99 cents this week.  One is blueberry and one is peach and they have no chunks in them.  They're really creamy and have 12g of protein per serving.  Woot!

FAGE is awesome. But it tastes a bit sour plain. I put artificial sweetener into it.

Im not fond at all of it plain.  I mix in a spoon of sf preserves in it plus a pack of splenda then it tastes great!

Fage and Oikos are both great brands of greek yogurt and pack a lot of protein.  Be warned though...they do NOT taste anything like Yoplait or Dannon that you may be used to.  The taste and consistency of plain greek yogurt is about like sour cream...however, with a bit of splenda and vanilla extract it is very good.  Just wanted to let you know what to expect!
