Off To the Ocean

Well I am getting packed and getting things ready for my scrapbook-athon weekend at the Ocean. I am taking an extra day and going up to my bestfriends house in Bel-Air to stay so Friday morning after we put her daughter on the bus to school off we go to O.C. I have not had a vacations since this time last year when I went and definitly need one. Yesterday was a very sad day for me. It was my last day with the kids I watch. They dont really understand what is going on but I held it together until they gave me a picture of them in a nice frame with a note from there parents saying how I have become a part of there family and how blessed they were that god sent me to them to help raise there kids.....ect. After I read that I lost it then when I was saying my final goodnight (not goodbye cause I will go see them all the time) I was o****il there Mom started crying. I was so blessed to work with such a great family and great parents that were like my own. They were very supportive when I decided to have this surgery and were part of my cheerleading team. So after the wek I had I am taking this extra day. I have been with them for 2 1/2 years. Well now that I have balbbed on I just wanted to say I hope you all have a great weekend Kelly

Kelly Have a time in O.C. We are going to OC with a bunch of friends over St Pat's Day weekend in two weeks! I can't wait. I am seriously OC deprived .. we used to go often off-season when we had a condo down there, but since we sold the condo 4 years ago I bet I haven't been to OC 5 times .. if that many .. Hey Kell - Have a great time in OC!!! I LOVE it there - even if I could go anywhere in the world for my vacay, I'd STILL want my week at the beach!! Have a great girls' weekend! I wanted to cry for you over the kids - it's amazing, isn't it, how children that aren't yours can steal your heart? What a nice gift from them - I know you'll treasure it and your memories of your times with them! Have a safe trip - and be prepared to tell all when you get back! Tia

Kelly, You are truly amazing when you can love someone else's children and make sure that they are safe and sound while their parents go to work. I wish I knew you when I had my Gianna and lil Gino. I would have never left my job at Verizon ( I used to make excellent money there) What an awesome gift that you got and the good thing is that you will get to see them. I know it had to be difficult to let them go. (((((((((((hugs))))))))))) When your time comes to be a Mommy you are going to be awesome!!! Have a great time at your friends and at Ocena City. Enjoy your time at the beach - you so deserve it. I want to see your finished scrapbooking pages at the next meeting. Have fun, relax, and relish the good memories of the family that you have just left. They were certainly lucky to have had you to help raise their kids. Onward to OC. I'm going over spring break for three days/two nights. Got an indoor pool just for the occasion. The kids will have a blast. Have fun!! TraciL
