Big News!!!
After 6 maybe 8 years (*****members at my age), I can stop using my cpap machine. I went from moderate to severe apnea to very mild. My pulminologist called me yesterday to give me my results. I went from 38 breathing interruptions an hour to 13. My biggest concern is that I am so used to falling alseep wearing that mask that it may take me a while to learn to sleep without it.
I am testing no machine for a few weeks to see how I adjust and if I feel very tired after sleeping. I slept fairly well last night.
Here's to normal tossing and turning!!!!!

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
Now, come on! My hubby has one of those things -- he's not obese, just has soft tissue problems in the throat -- and it's never stopped me! Not a turn-off at all. I'd rather have him alive and am grateful I don't have to listen to his snoring and snorting.
But, congrats, Aime! What a great victory! I'm looking forward to some of those myself (fewer drugs every day, less back and knee pain, etc.)
Good deal Aime!!! Sweet dreams.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Way to go! I told my surgeon the other day that besides the weight loss and generally feeling better, the only specifice thing I want at this point is to get off the CPAP! Congrats
