Happy Friday!

Hey gang - Well, seems like it took forever for Friday to get here, and I was out of the office for two days!!!  I've been busy at work, not much playtime this week!! Sitting here eating my Greek yogurt, Grape Nuts and berries - yes, I'm in a breakfast rut, but I LOVE Greek yogurt.  13 g of protein in 5.3 oz. container - 0 fat, 6 carbs/sugars, so for me, who has no dairy issues, it's a win-win.  Add the berries and cereal for sweet/crunchy, and it's a hormonal Tia's dream!!! Going to dinner tonight with Mom & Dad - we used to do this weekly until we started having KB more and time got away from us.  I love Mom & Dad as individuals - together, they make me want to wear a referee shirt and whistle!!!   Tomorrow, of course, I have KB and we'll go to Bruster's Ice Cream, where tomorrow is PJ Day.  If you wear your pj's you get a free small cone.  A small cone is still sometimes too much for me, but hey, it's free!!!  They have awesome s/f flavors - not a lot of them, but good quality stuff!! Tomorrow night, Mom & I are taking Gary to see Alvin & the Chipmunks at the cheapo theatre on Belair Road - $4 - you can't beat it!!!  KB will be with their mother, so it'll be childlike adults only!  I've seen and loved the movie - just going for the popcorn!!!!   Sunday, I'm supposed to meet Terry M. for lunch in White Mar****'ll be the first time I get to see her gorgeous new engagement ring!  I can't wait!!!  Then Mom & I are going to the movies, I think, to see 27 Dresses.   Add in some typing, laundry and cooking, and there you have my weekend!! What's everyone else doing?  I need to plan a get-together - it's been too long!  I'm thinking an Arundel Mills walk-about - those who want to shop can and we could meet for lunch or a drink or both!!! Hey Darla -  Get some time in at the gym for me, please!!  I really need it. If you're serious about seeing Alvin, by all means, let me know.  We won't go until an evening show since my brother doesn't get off until usually after 5. Can't wait to see 27 Dresses.  LOVE chick flicks!!! Yep, Dave & Buster's has bowling.  I know there was a previous outing there that involved bowling; I couldn't make it.  Maybe Mo has some info on the pricing, etc.  I'm not much into bowling myself, I might break a nail, but I'll be happy to sit there and cheer everyone on!! Easter's zooming in, so we might have a hard time getting people together.  We'll try. Tia

Happy Friday Tia, and everyone else too. Your weekend sounds mostly fun, with the exception of the laundry and referreeing parts, lol.  I will be working from 5-10 Saturday night, and might go in to do some inventory prep on Sunday.  Otherwise, I'm going to most likely do a little scrapbooking, and I want to see the Other Boylen sister, or whatever it is called. I might try to get in before noon so it's only $5. You will LOVE 27 dresses. I'd love to go see Alvin, but damn I just remembered about 15 min. ago that I had to work. I was just making plans with a friend, and then it popped back into my head. I'm glad I remembered, since I'm not a fan of not showing up for work. I would love to get together with everyone. I love Dave and Busters, for games and bowling that is. Plus shopping is always fun.

Hey Kath - Well, the laundry is a necessity.  For that matter, so is the referreeing, too!!! Don't you just hate how work gets in the way of your social life????   Okay, I'll work on setting up a Dave and Buster's outing.  Maybe the weekend before Easter (jeez, I ALMOST typed Christmas!!)  I'd have been shot for sure!! LOL as far as breaking a nail thats why I have acrylics LOL  ( Its really hard to break them) I may just try and meet up with you for Alvin:  maybe I will bring my niece Jessica. Yes Easter will be here before we know it .  I heard the Zoo is opening up this weekend: Maybe we can get a group together for  a Saturday or Sunday Zoo visit:  I have never been to the Zoo:  come to think of it I have not been to the Science center or Aquarium either. Maybe we can do a Friday after 5  reduced admission LOL  . If I don't see you for Alvin  have a great weekend> Darla

Hey Darla - I had acrylics a LONG time ago - I became allergic to them - it was nasty - puffy eyes and the skin peeled off of my fingers!!  No more acrylics for me!!  Fortunately, I've been blessed with hard nails that grow quickly.   I'm gonna pm you my cell number, if you want to do the same, I'll call you and let you know what time we're seeing Alvin!!  Bring tissues - you'll laugh until you cry!! I think there was a zoo get-together last year.  I'm not a huge fan myself, my brother has a membership, and it seems like every time we go, a lot of exhibits are closed or under renovation.  Not really sure where they're putting the admittance fee!!!  He also has an aquarium membership - Friday after 5 sounds like a great idea!!  I haven't been to the Science Center in a long time!! I'll get in touch with you!!

Hi Tia, I haven't been on the site in FOREVER, but when I checked in today I was delighted to see your post.  I have been thinking of you a lot lately so I have said prayers for you.  I have always believed when someone is on your mind a lot that it is a prompt to pray for them and reach out to them.  So here I am doing both.     I have been doing pretty good.  Work is super busy.  I am stealing time today to check the site.  I usually use my lunch break to go to the gym but I am not feeling well and coughing up a storm so I figured it would not be a good idea to go get all hot, sweaty and thirsty.  I lost my voice yesterday but have most of it back today.  I am trying really hard to stick out the work day.   The weekend is going to be fairly quite for me.  I am going to bathe the dog - she has to get a bath every week!  Then sometime this weekend my friend is bringing over two dressers and a bookshelf she doesn't want anymore.  So I have to prepare the house for those items.  We can finally get rid of the very old, falling apart dressers in the girls rooms.  Church on Sunday and that's about all I have planned.  I will probably take a nap on both days to help me get over this cold.  Oh, and grocery shopping. We are hitting a very busy season at home.  Stephanie and Meghan have Fine Arts talent competion next weekend.  Then in April Art & I celebrate 20 years and are trying to go to CA for a visit.  May will be crazy with prom and graduation and AP exams.  Somewhere in all of that I hope to have my second plastic surgery done.  That will be a BL/BA and some additional lipo on my thighs.   Well, I had better go.  I still have lots to finish here at work.  I have missed you and everyone here on the boards.  How exciting that Terry is engaged!  I know she must be elated.  Please be sure to tell us how wonderful she looks.  I haven't seen her since before her 1st plastic surgery.  I hope she's happy with how everything has gone.
