Okay, gang, so we'd pretty much voted and agreed upon the date of Sunday, December 7, 2008 for our holiday gathering. I've researched some places, and based on some suggestions from people in the know (thanks for the info, by the way), have decided to go with the Severn Inn (www.severninn.com).

I tentatively made a reservation for us, but need to speak with the GM tomorrow about whether they will cut us losers a deal. The brunch buffet, whi*****ludes everything you can think of that would be on a brunch buffet, plus all you can drink coffee, tea, soda, iced tea, Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's, is $27.95 per adult, children 5-12 are $16.00, and under 5 is complimentary. Yes, families are welcome, just be advised that unruly spouses AND children will be sold into Christmas elf slavery!!!

At some of the other places suggested, parking was an issue, and this place appears to be beautiful. They are currently revamping their website, but do have some beautiful pics for now.

So that's it - Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 10 a.m., Severn Inn.

You'll need to RSVP me by Friday, December 5 so that I can give them a head count.

Don't forget, everyone should bring some canned goods to be donated to a food bank.

Looks like a very nice place! Quite spendy for the amount we can eat. I would have to sit there 6 hours to get my 27.50 worth of food! lol

Sounds great! I hope the GM can work out a wls deal for those of us who it applies to. Maybe suggest the kids price for us. Count me in regardless; I'm in it for the camaraderie, not the food!
