McSweetie is now McHusband!
Hey Everybody!
I just wanted to drop in and say "Hi" to everybody. I'm sorry I've been so out of touch the last several months. The big day (or evening actually) finally came and went last night. If I must say so myself, it was excellent and a good time was had by all!
I'm now a married woman and McSweetie is now McHusband! Ya know, 3 years and 3 months ago (prior to WLS), I would never have dreamed how much my life would change (other than the obvious weight loss) so much! I recently saw my surgeon for some issues I've been having with pain (endoscopy came back clear for an ulcer, but he wants me to have two more tests when we get back from the honeymoon) and I told him that I was getting married in a few weeks and told him it was in large part due to him. In his usual humble way, he thanked me, but said that I had to do the work in order to be a success. I agreed, but wanted to give him some credit.
Well we're off tomorrow morning for a cruise and then a long weekend in Disney. Perhaps I'll be able to post more now (in the evening, can't post from work anymore), now that my nights will be freed up from planning the biggest event of my life!

Terry, the wedding was absolutely beautiful and you were gorgeous! McMom couldn't have been cuter!!! I swear she looks like she should smell like sugar cookies! LOL Mark was looking good himself, but you definitely stole the show (as a bride should!) I was wondering if you were uncomfortable at the reception because you were rubbing your tummy a lot. I hope the doc finds out what is going on for you. Have a great time on the cruise and at Disney. Take a spin on the teacups for me and you have to get on "Soaring"!!! Bon Voyage!!!!

I hope the dr gets to figure out what is bothering you. Take care and please let us what the doc says when you have those tests done.
