A TRUE WOW Moment!

Saturday night a friend of mine invited me to the movies.  Now keep in mind that, like most of us, I hadn't been in a movie theater in YEARS!!!!  You know how it is, Can I fit in the seats?  will they be comfortable if I can even sit down?

Well, even though I KNOW that I am a lot smaller than last year, those thoughts kept popping up.  Of course I didn't voice these concerns to my friend who knows all about my surgery.... so off we went.

We walked up the steps to sit in the higher section of the theater, I took off my coat and prepared my brain for what I KNEW was going to happen... I WOULD NOT fit!

Talk about a SHOCK when I sat down and actually had ROOM TO SPARE!!!!!   I almost screamed out loud but not wanting to embarrass my friend, I didn't.  I just smiled and settled into that pesky theater seat, loving every second of the moment!!!!

Just thought I would share that new WOW moment in my life....there's been lots lately but I will save those for another time.

I hope everyone is doing well...I read the posts but most of the time now don't have time to post.  I am off today and enjoying catching up with everyone.

Awwww, Deb!!!  That's awesome and definitely one to which I can relate!!!!!!!!

Now, had you been with US, we would've understood your scream!!!!!  LOL!!!

its great not the have to shove the rest of ur butt into the seat huh? lol. when i go out to eat now, i always notice the space between me and the table. very cool! congrats.

That is a wonderful WOW moment and I had the exact same one...... I actually cried.  My husband was so happy for me too.  Now I can actually cuddle up in the corner of the seat and put my head on his shoulder (sappy I know).  No more screw marks in the side of my legs.  I love the thought now of going to the movies.  Congratulations on your WOW moment, there are many and we should celebrate each and every one.  We deserve it.

What a wonderful WOW.  I know there have been times I have been a total shock.  A big one for me was fitting into the chairs at work.  I would always have to wedge myself into the chairs (hard wooden arms included)  I now have tons of space.  In fact at a meeting today I sat in the evil chair had had my purse (which is pretty big) and my wool and cashmere coat in the seat with me and I was pretty comfy. 

So, on days when I feel by A$$ is big I just need to remember that feeling.
