Who had an EGD?

i had an upper endoscopy prior to my surgery and felt no painor discomfort. afterwaards i ate a cheese steak sub, one of my last ones forever!!!!!

YUMMMMMMY!!!!  I haven't had one of those for over two years.  To be honest the smell of onions would make me vomit right now (pregnancy induced) and the thought of the grease, let's not talk about it, but pre-op YUM! lol  It's nice to reminisce

Your so lucky! I want to be pregnant!!!! hehehehe I am so DONE though. I had a tubal in 2000 and I am now 33. I am done but I have ENVY! I would LOVE to have another. ;o) ~Jilly~

I'm having a tubal during my c-section so this little girl will be our last.  Someone asked me if we planned on trying a third time for a boy and I told her to use HER uterus because mine is retired!  Thankfully I've only gained 11 pounds and it plus some is all baby because my belly FEELS pre-op big, but everything else has stayed the same size LOL  I'm having a great pregnancy, but I can't wait for her to get here so I can head in for a band fill and get even closer to goal!!!

LOL Ewwwwwww Well I was told I wont be able to eat at all for over an hour afterwards until I am able to swallow again. I wont have a gag reflex so I would most likely choke they said. How nice huh? LOL

I had an EGD done and I must say that I forgot the name of what they used to knock me out I know it was not twilight sleep.  I remember them telling me to relax they shot something in the IV and them I got furious because they woke me up for what I felt like minutes later in the middle of a good dream.  I didn't feel a thing and I was groggy for a while and Gino drove me home.
Just make sure to talk to the dr who will be performing the procedure he should be able top explain everything and calm your fears.

Thanks so much honey. I hope I dont recall any of it either and that nothing goes wrong. Someone in a loop I am in said they had one 3 years ago and had to get immediate surgery afterwards for a tear in the intestines. That is just straight scary!!! I have a lot of faith in Dr K though so I just have to stick with my guns and go through with it and scracth one more thing off the to do list. Then I am on my way to surgery Dec 4th. I still cant believe it!!! I AM ACTUALLY HAVING RNY!!! ~Jilly~
